How can I change the name of my base or character name?

For a small gold charge, names can be changed in-game by visiting your Profile page. Click on the "Edit Name" button under your current name and invite code. Type in your new name. Please keep in mind that names can only be 20 characters in length, including spacing, and must be consistent with our Terms of Service. Failure to abide by these terms will result in your name being changed, with no refund of the gold paid.


What are the different nations and their boosts?

There are 6 nations you can choose from in the game:

  • United Kingdom - bonus to Sea Power
  • Germany - bonus to Ground Forces
  • China - bonus to Infantry
  • Iran - Faster Energy Recovery
  • Russia - Bonus to Air Power
  • United States - Faster Stamina Recovery


How do I switch my affiliated nation?

You may switch your nation for gold. Go to Menu> Profile and scroll the right side of your Stats tab down to the bottom. Beneath the list of bonuses is your current nation and a button "Switch Nation". Click on the button to view the other options.


Can I reallocate my skill points?

We currently are unable to provide a reallocation of skill points, so please make sure you are completely sure about which stats you spend your points on!


How do I get more gold?

Other than the 10 gold all players start with, all gold must be purchased through our in-app store or through offers by third party companies such as Tapjoy, AdColony, or SponsorPay.


How do I get more energy to do jobs?

To increase your energy levels, invest skill points into this category.  You will receive 1 energy for every point invested.  Skill points can be earned by leveling up or by reaching level 5 mastery of a map area.

You can also purchase an energy refill of up to 1000 energy for 20 gold. 


Why hasn't my energy or stamina completely refilled yet?

Energy and Stamina refills over time. If you have items with Energy boosts, your energy will refill quicker. When you use an energy or stamina refill, there is a cap on how much energy or stamina may refill. For each energy refill it is 1000. For each Stamina refill it is 50.


I no longer see the yellow arrows indicating which missions I should do. How do I turn them on?

Tap on the small green icon at the bottom the screen in that particular area (i) and select the "Show Missions" option. You should now see the yellow indicator arrows.


Why didn't I get a unit for defeating an enemy on the map?

A unit reward is not guaranteed for each enemy defeated. When you see the soldier icon located in the rewards section of the target, it means that there is a chance that a unit will drop from this target.


Why is my profile not displaying all of my attack and defense stats?

Your profile only displays the stats from the units you are taking into battle, not the stats from ALL of your units.  Remember, you can only take up to 500 allies to battle, and they in turn bring 6 units max. That means you are bringing 3000 units max to any encounter. The stats showing from your profile are coming from those 3000 units only.


How do boosts work?

There are two categories of boost effect, and the two categories have a different formula for how multiple sources of the same bonus are applied. The first category of boosts are the ones that raise a number. An example would be the boost that gives a flat bonus to defense buildings (it raises your defense from buildings). Multiple sources of these boosts are additive. For those faction bonuses, you will see a progression of 5% / 10% / 15% / 20% / 25%.

The second category of boosts are those that lower a number. An example of this category would be casualty rate reduction (it lowers the casualty rate). These boosts are multiplicative. Multiplicative bonuses are determined by subtracting the bonus from 1. So a 5% bonus is .95 (1- .05), and multiplicative bonuses are multiplied together. This type of mechanic is common to games in general, usually relating to things that cannot logically go above 100%. A common example would be an evasion mechanic of some sort; you can't evade 150% of anything.

Example: If you have two 5% multiplicative bonuses and two 15% multiplicative bonuses of the same type, instead of having a combined 40% bonus, you would have a combined 34% bonus (.95*.95*.85*.85) = .652, which, when subtracted from 1, is .348, or a .34 (34%) bonus. Compare this with two additive bonuses of 5% and two additive bonuses of 15%, which would look like 1 + .05 + .05 + .15 + .15 or 1.4, or a combined 40% total bonus.

While the example given above reference the faction boosts, this also applies to personal boosts from units or buildings that display on the profile.


How do I delete or reset my account?

We do not currently offer this service, but we may add this feature at a later date.


I am missing data! (Newly constructed buildings, current events, newly won items) Where did it go?

Sometimes devices revert back to an earlier set of data instead of using the most current information provided by our servers. To check if this is true, go in-game to Menu> More> About. There you will see a data version beginning in mw_20##, such as “mw_20140710_5”. The current data version will be no more then a week off of the date you see included in the data version title.

If you see yourself on an older version, this is easily fixed. For iOS players, just restart your device. Android players have two ways of solving this. When you check on your data version, if you see the text "Updating" in the About field, please allow the game to continue downloading the new data set. When this is complete, you should see a pop-up which asks if you would like to "quit and restart to use the new data." Select yes, and when your game restarts you should have the new data.

If you do not see the text "Updating" in the About field, to update your data set please allow your game to run for 10-15 minutes, exit, and then restart. You may be required to perform this action more than once to receive the new data.


Do you support Jailbroken devices?

GREE games are developed to function along with your device's system specifications. Alterations to a device through hacking and/or jailbreaking can lead to unforeseen issues. In such a case, we cannot support the game on the device.
