The Bizarre Bazaar

prizes.jpg

The Bizarre Bazaar can be found on the event island and contains all the prizes that can be earned in the event. Prizes are divided into Day and Night collections and the prizes within those collections will unlock as your park changes from day to night.

Exchanging Candy for Prizes

  • Visit the Bizarre Bazaar and tap the Prizes icon
  • View available prizes by tapping each of the different collections
  • A counter on each prize will show you how many of that item you currently own. Please note that dragons that have not yet been hatched will not be counted.
  • The prizes available will change as your park changes from day to night

Prize Collections

As your park changes from day to night, the prizes that are available in the Bizarre Bazaar will change as well. Prizes in the Day collection will only be available to purchase when it is light in your park. Prizes in the Night collection can only be claimed at night. Your park will change between day and night every 6 hours.

Summoning Dragons

summon.jpg

Certain new dragons can only be obtained by transforming existing dragons in your park. To summon one of these new dragons, you'll need to obtain all 10 unique decorations required for the desired dragon.

More information on how to summon the Wrath, Porcelain, and Corrupticorn Dragons can be found in their breeding hints. If you have the necessary base dragon as indicated in the breeding hint, and have collected all 10 of the required decorations, you can then summon the new dragon to your park.

Obtaining Decorations

ornaments.jpg

The decorations needed to summon new dragons can be acquired from the Summoning Chests found within the Bizarre Bazaar. There are 2 different types of Summoning Chests - The Summoning Chest of Day can be found in the Day section of prizes, and the Summoning Chest of Night can be purchased in the Night section of prizes. Each chest will contain a single decoration.

The Ornaments of Porcelain required for the Porcelain Dragon can only be found in The Summoning Chest of Day, and the Tendrils of Wraith needed for the Wrath Dragon can only be found in The Summoning Chest of Night.

The Flames of Corruption required to summon the Corrupticorn Dragon can be found in both types of chests. 5 of the Flames of Corruption can only be found in the Summoning Chest of Day, and the other 5 Flames of Corruption must be obtained from the Summoning Chest of Night.

You can also obtain decorations from the Golden Chests found in Mini Games. A Golden Chest won in a mini game during the day can contain any of the decorations that can be found in a Summoning Chest of Day. Golden Chests won when it is night in your park may contain any of the decorations that can be found in the Summoning Chest of Night.

In addition to acquiring the decorations from chests, Whitbee may also award decorations randomly if you find him in your park.

Evolving a Dragon

evolve-1.jpg     evolve-2.jpg

If you've collected all 10 colors of the required decorations, and have the necessary base dragon in your park, you can evolve that dragon using the steps below. The base dragon you need can be found in the in-game breeding hints for the Porcelain, Wrath, and Corrupticorn Dragons.

  1. Make sure you have all 10 decorations placed in your park and not in your gifts menu
  2. Locate the dragon you wish to evolve and tap on it
  3. Tap the "Evolve" icon at the bottom of the dragon's info card
  4. In the pop up menu, tap to select the type of dragon you wish to evolve to, then tap the confirm button
  5. Tap the "Evolve" button to transform your dragon. Please note that evolving a dragon will cost 1000 Candy

It is important to note that when you transform one of your dragons it will evolve into a new dragon, and the original dragon will no longer be available in your park. Please keep this in mind if you only have one of the dragon you wish to evolve.

Activities & Games

Ghoulish Game Gallery

wheel-of-chance.png     dragon-drop.png

The Ghoulish Game Gallery contains two different mini games - Wheel of Chance and Dragon Drop. You'll get 5 free plays in the Ghoulish Game Gallery every 6 hours, up to a maximum of 20 plays per day. Please note that these plays are shared between both games. The available game will change depending on whether it is day or night in your park.

Wheel of Chance - Give the wheel a spin and be rewarded with the number of Candy or Gems the needle lands on. This game will be available to play only when it is night in your park.

Dragon Drop - A game of chance, Pachinko style! Tap to drop the coin and win Candy or Gems! This game will be available to play only when it is light in your park.

On Friday, 10/19, the mini-games will swap and Wheel of Chance will be available during the day, while Dragon Drop will only be available when it is night in your park. This will last until the following Friday (10/26) at which time the games will swap back again. The Games will swap for a final time on Friday, 11/2.

Buying More Plays

After you use your last available play at the Ghoulish Game Gallery you will have the option to purchase an additional play for 5 Gems. Purchasing an additional play is entirely optional and you will still receive your 5 free plays every 6 hours as usual.

Please note: If you have already reached your Candy limit for the day, buying more plays will not allow you to win more Candy for your personal total.

Golden Chests

golden-chest.png

Sometimes Dragon Drop and the Wheel of Chance contain a special Golden Chest that has 3 ritual decorations inside. A Golden Chest won in a mini game during the day can contain any of the decorations that can be found in a Summoning Chest of Day. Golden Chests won when it is night in your park may contain any of the decorations that can be found in the Summoning Chest of Night.

You'll always have a small chance to find a Golden Chest when playing games, but buying an additional play gives you a 99% chance of finding a Golden Chest on your next turn. Please note that this only guarantees that the chest will appear, and not that the coin or wheel will land on it.

Mausoleum Colosseum

Similar to cooperative breeding, you can team up with friends’ dragons to compete in challenges and win Candy!

colosseum.png

  • Challenges will last 4 hours each
  • You may complete up to 4 challenges per day
  • Choose the best dragons for the challenge by matching the dragons' elements to the elements of the current challenge

Whitbee & Hidden Pumpkins

pumpkin-1.png

Each day Whitbee will hide pumpkins around your park. He will scatter 5 pumpkins every 4 hours, up to a maximum of 15 pumpkins per day. You will know when there are pumpkins to be found when you see the pumpkin decoration on the Visitors icon. You can also find Whitbee himself up to 3 times per day, so be sure to tap him for extra Candy and maybe even a special decoration!

Frequently Asked Questions

Why hasn’t the event begun in my park yet?

Your park must be at least level 11 to participate in this event, which began on October 12th, 2018.

If you’re above level 11 and the event hasn’t started for you, you may be playing on an older version of DragonVale. Please update to the most recent version through your device's app store. The correct version for the event is 4.10.0.

What is the daily limit of Candy?

Candy is normally limited to 1000 per day, but be on the lookout for special occasions where there is more Candy available! Keep in mind that purchases in the Market are not affected by the daily limit.

When can I collect more Candy?

Your daily cap for Candy will reset each day at 11am Mountain Time. Check back each day for more Candy and more chances to earn prizes!

I've collected all of the required decorations, but I can't acquire the new dragons. What's wrong?

Once you've acquired the 10 decorations necessary for obtaining one of the new dragons, you'll need to make sure you have collected them from your gifts menu and placed them in your park.

You'll also need to have the right dragons in order to transform them into one of the new dragons. Please see the breeding hints for the Wrath, Porcelain, and Corrupticorn Dragons for more information on which dragons are required for each of these new dragon types.

Why did I receive a decoration I already own?

The decorations awarded from Summoning Chests are based on chance, and you are not guaranteed to receive a decoration that you do not already own. Please keep in mind that you can also obtain decorations from the Golden Chests found in mini games, as well as from Whitbee himself.

What happens to my original dragon after I evolve it into one of the new dragons?

When you transform one of your dragons it will evolve into an entirely new dragon, and the original dragon will be gone from your park forever. Please keep this in mind if you only have one of the dragon you wish to evolve.

How many times can I evolve a dragon?

A single dragon can only be transformed once, however, if you've collected all 10 of the required decorations, and have multiples of the necessary dragon, you can evolve more than one of them if you wish.

Can the Wrath, Porcelain, and Corrupticorn Dragons be bred?

These dragons can only be bred if both parent dragons are Wrath, Porcelain, or Corrupticorn. For example, Wrath + Wrath has a chance of producing another Wrath Dragon, but Wrath + another dragon does not. Additionally, the Corrupticorn Dragon can only be bred in the Rift Breeding Cave, so the only way to breed one at this time would be by breeding two Corrupticorn Dragons in your own Rift Breeding Cave.

How many games can I play each day?

You'll get 5 free plays in the Hall of Hallows every 6 hours, up to a maximum of 20 plays per day. Please note that these plays are shared between both games.

Why am I being charged Gems to play games?

If you've already used your 5 available plays you will have the option to purchase an additional play for 5 Gems. This is entirely optional and you will still receive your 5 free plays every 6 hours.

Will buying more plays at the Ghoulish Game Gallery allow me to collect Candy beyond the normal daily limit?

If you have already reached your Candy limit for the day, buying more plays will not allow you to win more Candy for your personal total.

When does the Whitbee's Candy Bash end?

Whitbee's Candy Bash runs through November 4th, 2018, and concludes on November 5th at 11am Mountain Time. It will not be possible to earn additional Candy after this time, but the Bizarre Bazaar will remain open for two additional days so you can turn in any leftover Candy you may have.

When does the Bizarre Bazaar close?

The Bizarre Bazaar will close at 11am Mountain Time on November 7th and event prizes will no longer be available after this time.

What happens to my leftover Candy at the end of Whitbee's Candy Bash?

After the Bizarre Bazaar closes on November 7th, we'll turn any leftover Candy into DragonCash at the rate of 1,000 DragonCash per 1 Candy.

When is my last chance to purchase Candy if I need a little more?

To prevent any potential issues with purchases being made as the event is ending, Candy purchasing will be turned off at 8am Mountain Time on November 7th, 3 hours prior to the closing of the Bizarre Bazaar.
