Forest Guardian is the starting Nature (Farios) Fighter type unit with low attack, good defense and average speed. Its special ability grants the Guardian a chance to throw a spear at a target with the highest speed, rooting and slowing it by 40%, and taunting it for 1 turn. If the enemy is killed while entangled in roots, the Forest Guardian squad is reinforced by a share of the deceased units.

As Dendroids, the Forest Guardians receive increased healing, cannot be resurrected by regular spells and take 50% more burn damage. Enemies are also unable to use lifesteal or vampirism to heal by attacking this unit.
