Getting Started
Join DragonVale for the all new Treasure Hunt event! Your park must be at least level 11 to participate in this event, which began on May 23rd, 2018. If you’re above level 11 and the event hasn’t started for you, you may be playing on an older version of DragonVale. Please update to the most recent version through your device's app store. The correct version for the event is 4.6.2.
Collecting Rings
Rings are earned primarily by finding hidden treasure chests within your park. Additionally, you can earn Rings by breeding, incubating, and hatching dragons. The more rare the dragon you hatch, the more Rings you will receive.
Rings are normally limited to 1000 per day, but be on the lookout for special days when more Rings are available. It is important to note that there isn't a community reward in this event, so once you've reached your personal limit of 1000 Rings per day you will not be able to collect additional Rings that day.
Ways to Earn Rings:

Finding Treasure Chests hidden in your park. Chests can contain Rings and DragonCash, and have a chance of containing Abundant Essence.
- Breeding dragons
- Incubating eggs
- Hatching dragons
- Selling dragons from the Nursery
- Releasing dragons for Etherium
- Displaying eggs as pedestals
Purchasing Rings
Rings can also be purchased through the Market. Purchased Rings do not count against your daily collection limit.
The Bazaar of Brilliance
The Bazaar of Brilliance can be found on the event island and contains all the prizes that can be earned in the event.
Exchanging Rings for Prizes
- Visit the Bazaar of Brilliance and tap the Prizes icon
- A counter on each prize will show you how many of that item you currently own. Please note that dragons that have not yet been hatched will not be counted.
- New event dragons can be obtained via Treasured Mystery Eggs
Treasured Mystery Egg
All of the new event dragons can be obtained via Treasured Mystery Eggs. These special eggs will magically transform into one of the following dragon eggs:
- Djinni Dragon
- Opulent Dragon
- Regal Dragon
- Scarab Dragon
The results of a Treasured Mystery Egg are based on chance and some dragons are more rare than others. You may receive a new dragon, or one that you already own. You may also receive a twin or Rift variant of one of the above dragons.

Why hasn’t the event begun in my park yet?

What is the daily limit of Rings?
Rings are normally limited to 1000 per day, but be on the lookout for special days where there are more Rings available! Keep in mind that purchases in the Market are not affected by the daily limit.
Please note that this event does not feature a community reward, so you will not be able to collect additional Rings after you've hit your personal limit for the day.
When can I collect more Rings?
Your daily cap for Rings will reset each day at 11am MDT. Check back each day for more Rings and more chances to earn prizes!
When does the Treasure Hunt event end?
Treasure Hunt runs through June 4th, 2018, and concludes on June 5th at 11am MDT. It will not be possible to earn additional Rings after this time, but the Bazaar of Brilliance will remain open for one additional day so you can turn in any leftover Rings you may have.
When does the Bazaar of Brilliance close?
The Bazaar of Brilliance will close at 11am MDT on June 6th and event prizes will no longer be available after this time. You will not be able to earn additional Rings during this extra day, but you will have the opportunity to turn in any leftover Rings for prizes.
What happens to my leftover Rings at the end of the Treasure Hunt?
After the Bazaar of Brilliance closes on June 6th, we'll turn any leftover Rings into DragonCash at the rate of 1,000 DragonCash per 1 Ring.
When is my last chance to purchase Rings if I need a few more?
To prevent any potential issues with purchases being made as the event is ending, Ring purchasing will be turned off at 8am MDT on June 6th, 3 hours prior to the closing of the Bazaar of Brilliance.
