Your park level must be at least level 11 to begin this event. You might be playing on an older version of DragonVale, please update to the most recent version through the App Store, Google Play, or Amazon Marketplace. (The correct version for the Faire is 3.1.0)

I missed the help menus / event tutorials, what should I do?

This event is all about playing games, collecting tickets around your park, and turning them into fabulous prizes at the prize tent.

If you select the Prize Tent, then tap Help, you can view all the information on the event.

When does the event or current elemental phase end?

Collecting Tickets

To earn amazing event prizes you’ll have to collect tickets from various activities. How do you earn tickets, you ask?

Earning Tickets
  • Collecting cash from habitats
  • Breeding Dragons
  • Clearing bushes and trees from new islands
  • Playing games
  • Special Visitors award tickets
    • During each phase, two flag-carrying visitors will appear. These guests will correspond to the current two events of the phase.

    • During the final phase, all the previous visitors reappear. Thus, all ten visitors are present in the final phase.

Purchasing
  • Tickets can also be purchased through the Market
  • PURCHASES DO NOT COUNT TOWARDS THE DAILY CAP.

*Please note that only so many tickets are available to collect each day. Once you hit your maximum you can check the Prize Tent to see how long until more tickets are obtainable.

FAQ:

Why aren’t I earning any tickets? When do my tickets reset?

There is a limit on how many tickets you can collect each day. To check how long until you can collect tickets again you can visit the Prize Tent.

What is the daily limit of Tickets?

Tickets are normally limited to 500 per day, but be on the lookout for special occasions where there are more magic tickets!

Why is there a daily collection limit on tickets during the Faire?

The tickets are magic and are recreated every day at the same time, but the magic only allows for a finite amount.

Will there be opportunities to earn bonus tickets?

At random times throughout the Faire players can earn more tickets than normal. Stay tuned to our Facebook community to learn when the Wizards and Witches are feeling saucy! www.facebook.com/dragonvale

What happens to my winnings from Name That Dragon or The Wheel of Chance if I’ve already hit my ticket limit for the day?

The Magic Wishing Well

Toss a DragonCash coin into this Magical Wishing Well and see what happens! Only the most powerful Wizards and Witches can predict what this mysterious decoration could be for…

Is it a carnival trick? Or, could this well actually grant your wish?

FAQ:

Why should I contribute?

Why not? Everyone could use a little good luck...

Where do I find my own Wishing Well?

If you haven't placed it yet, you can find your Wishing Well in the Gifts tab of the Social Menu.

How does it work?

Once placed in your park, the Wishing Well is charged with a single "wish." A wish can be used in exchange for a single building, habitat, or dragon in the Wishing Well Market.

How do I use my Wish?

First, select the Wishing Well in your park. Then, tap the "Wish" button to open up the Wishing Well Market. You only have ONE WISH, which can be redeemed for a single item from the market. Choose Wisely!

How do we get more wishes?

A wish is a very rare and special thing. Not even the most powerful Wizards and Witches know how to acquire more at this time...

The End of The Great Dragon Faire

The Great Dragon Faire will draw to a close after the conclusion of the final phase, but the Prize Tent will remain open for a brief time. This will give you the opportunity to turn in any leftover tickets for prizes.

When does the Faire end?

The event runs through September 21, although the end of this event is different than in the past.

What happens to my leftover tickets at the end of the Great Dragon Faire?

Good question. In the past, because the prizes were achieved in a straight line, it was easy to know how much player's had earned towards the next reward and make choices for you. This time, since players had the choice to get whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted, we had to make some interesting decisions about the end of the event. Should we just pick some prizes and spend your tickets for you? Should we just tell you the event is over, tough cookies, and your tickets vanish? Those felt like bad answers, so we decided to leave the Prize Tent open an extra week, even though the event is over.

So the short answer is, nothing happens to your leftover tickets for ONE WEEK. You can still hop in the game, access the Prize Tent and spend your tickets however you'd like. At the END of that extra week, we'll turn your tickets into treats and place them in your gifts.

Why can I still buy tickets but not earn them?

Based on our decision to leave the Prize Tent open an extra week we had a discussion that was essentially, "What if I'm really close to getting the Shrine of the Ancients?   What do I do?" - which is a good question. What can we do for players who were close to achieving their goal, but maybe were on vacation when the event ended? Based on a small percentage of users who might want to reach for some items them missed, we decided to keep the Ticket Market open.

Why not just make the event longer and let us earn tickets the whole time?

Then we end up at square one, which is "what do we do at the last moment when people haven't spent their tickets?"

Thanks!
