Duel / Dueling – How Does It Work?.

Duel is a one-on-one PvP feature where you challenge another player in combat. Unlike Invade, which takes your entire army into account, Duel focuses primarily on your active general and currently equipped items.

Your Attack, Defense, equipment, and general all contribute to your overall Duel strength.

How Does Duel Work?

When entering a Duel, the game evaluates your active general and one equipped item from each relevant equipment category.

These categories include:

  • Weapon
  • Off-hand
  • Helmet
  • Armor
  • Gloves
  • Amulet
  • Magic
  • Boots

Only one item from each applicable category is considered. This means that having a well-equipped active general is important when preparing for a Duel.

How Is Duel Power Calculated?

Duel power is determined by a combination of your Attack, Defense, general stats, equipment bonuses, and a luck factor.

The weighting of these stats changes depending on whether you're attacking or defending.

Does Health Decrease After a Duel?

Yes! Every Duel has an impact on your character's Health. Keep this in mind when challenging other players, as repeated Duels can gradually reduce your available Health.

Tips for Improving Your Duel Performance

If you want to improve your chances in Duels, consider the following:

  • Choose a strong active general.
  • Equip your best available items across all relevant equipment categories.
  • Improve both your Attack and Defense stats.
  • Pay attention to your opponent's strengths when deciding whether to attack.
  • Keep an eye on your Health, especially when participating in multiple Duels.

Remember, Duel is all about your active general, equipped items, and combat stats. Unlike Invade, having a large army does not directly determine your Duel strength!
