This article outlines general information about merges of servers in the game.
After a thorough review of the server and game status, we have decided to merge servers and create a new world from two old ones. This will grant more opportunities for players to evolve and upgrade their characters and accounts.
Two of the old servers will be merged into one new server, with a new name. After the merge, the old servers will not be accessible, and progress will be migrated to the new server.
Before proceeding with the server merge, our team analyzed the economies of the servers involved, as well as potential challenges related to creating a new server. All active characters from the old servers will be transferred to the new server, and they will retain their existing progress.
If an account has 6 characters on one server and 5 on another (same account), all 11 will appear on one character screen in the new server. No characters will be lost as a result of char slot limitation.
If two players have the same character name on merged server, the older character will retain the name and the other will receive an extra letter and number to its name.
Free name changes will be issued to any character that loses a name conflict and is renamed with the extra letter and number. Such requests will be taken care of via tickets to our Customer Support Team to update/change affected character name post-merge.
Conflicting clan names after the merge, will have appended the origin server letter to the end of the clan name. From there on, clan Chieftains can contact Customer Support to request a new name, or to keep the original. The process for deciding which clan gets to keep the original name is based on an internal investigation and will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
