Units' speed: How does it work?.
We would like to share with you some information so that you could understand the units’ speed mechanics better. So, this is how the turn order is determined:
- The system picks the fastest unit on the battlefield. All units whose speed is 40% lower than that of the fastest unit do not take part in the calculation and will not make the first move. The speeds of the remaining units are added together.
- For each unit, the chance to make the first move is calculated by dividing their speed by the sum of the speeds we mentioned above.
- During one of the next turns the sum of the speeds is recalculated with positive and negative effects affecting the speed taken into account. The speeds of the destroyed and stunned squads are not counted towards the sum. Thus, the chances to make the first move may change significantly.
