You can unlock additional attributes by sacrificing and enhancing gear. To do this, go to your forge, select an item and tap on "Enhance".



Select the items you wish to sacrifice and tap on "Enhance" to add experience to your gear piece.



Once you reach the first mark, you will unlock additional attributes like speed, load and life. These boosts only affect your troops when the hero assigned to the march is wearing that piece of gear.
